Left to celebrate Deb’s life is her daughter Angella Luther (Dre) of Waterloo; her grandchildren: Shawnnessy,  Arye Anna and Tres of Waterloo; her mother Gerry Luther of Oelwein; her brother Donald “Duke” (Cindy) Luther II and her nieces Libbi and Jessi Luther, all of Brooklyn Park, MN; her brother David (Kelly) Luther, a nephew Justin Luther and great-niece Jossalin, all of Cedar Rapids; as well as many friends.

In death, Deb has rejoined her father Donald(2002), and her brother Rich Luther(1977).

A memorial fund has been established in honor of Deb by her family.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Deb. She was our daughter's teacher at Kindercare for awhile, and our daughter loved her so much. She was a great person, and we will miss her smile.

Deb, we'll miss your huge smile that lit up Kindercare. I was always happy to see when you were one of the teachers caring for Henry and Lily. I'll never forget the way Lily's face lit up when she would run into your arms to give you a big teddy bear hug! You're a loving soul and I hope you'll be our guardian angel!

Our thoughts are with the Luther family. Deb will truly be missed!!

I have a lot of good memories of Deb when we were much younger. I used to stay at there house, and our parents were very close friends. Even though I had not seen Deb in a few years, I remember what a special and loving person she was. May all the wonderful memories you have of Deb get you through the difficult days ahead, and may God give you Peace during this difficult time. God Bless and love to you all. Rest in Peace, Deb.
Love, Terri (Teresa Fauser) Kauten
