Katherine Carmella Pirillo Doyle age 86 of Oelwein, Iowa Passed away on April 24, 2010 at Mercy Plus Living. Katherine, Kaye, Doyle was born on December 23, 1923 in Oelwein, Iowa to Joseph and Grace Rizutti Pirillo. Preceded in death by siblings Mary Pirillo; Eleanor Pirillo Vyverberg; Rose Pirillo Nabholz; Amy Pirillo Corkery; Michael Pirillo and Joseph Pirillo. Graduated from Sacred Heart High in 1941. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother to 7 children Kaye enjoyed a career in both radio and Chicago Northwestern Railroad. Married Vincent J Doyle on December 13, 1944, he passed away in 1994. Survivors include Kathy Doyle Baker of Atlanta, Mo Susan Doyle Molloy (Vincent) of Steubenville, OH; Amy Doyle McDowell (Doug) of Fairfield, IA; John Doyle (Jerri) of Independence, Ia,; Vonnie Doyle (Darcie) of Ogden, IA, Deb Doyle Stoeffler (Earl) of Ogden, Ia; Maggie Doyle Hardinger of Ogden, IA Kaye is survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. SERVICES:  3:00 PM on Monday-April 26, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. VISITATION:  From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday-April 23, 2010 at Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein with a Parish Rosary at 3:30 pm. and a scripture service at 6:00 pm. I have great memories of laughing with her and teasing her (and her teasing me!) while growing up. Amy and John, we had great times and probably made your mom crazy! I wish I could be in Oelwein and see you. We were out of town until Sunday evening and unfortunately I can't get away from work for the funeral. Please know I'll be thinking of all of you. One can only imagine the reunion in heaven! Jan
