So sorry to hear of Janet's passing... Janet was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by us both... Janet was the kind of person who would do anything for anybody... A couple examples--when Lillie's grandson Eddie was little, he loved John Deere, Janet knew this and as a surprise mailed a gift package to Lillie of all John Deere items for little Eddie. Little Eddie is now 27, but we all still remember this act of kindness... Another example--Lille and her husband Dick vacationed in FL at the same time Janet and Frank did for years. One time, Lillie and Dick had one condo rented but wanted another one that was already booked up. While they were out to lunch, the other condo became available. When they got back from lunch, they found that Janet had not only re-booked them into the condo they wanted, but was already clearing out their refrigerator and putting the food into the refrigerator at the new condo! Just little acts of kindness here and there over the years--that was Janet! Although Lillie and Janet lived in different states and Lillie stopped visiting Florida, she and Janet remained friends over all those years. They would talk on the phone monthly, reminiscing and talking about "just stuff". Yes, Janet is loved and will be greatly missed by us all...

I'm sorry to hear of Janet's death. She was a very sweet lady and good friend to my aunt Evelyn. They were co-workers at Montgomery Ward and Janet could always make Evelyn laugh. Janet remained connected to Evelyn and visited her at Prairie Hills. My sympathy to Janet's family.mM
