September 11, 2016 - January 4, 2017

Baby Kimberly Elizabeth Ann McClaren, of Oelwein, passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein.  Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at the Geilenfeld Funeral Home.  Services will be held privately.  Memorials may be directed to her family.

Baby Kimberly was born in Iowa City on September 11, 2016 to parents Robert and Kelly (Matthews) McClaren.  She enjoyed listening to music, her favorite song being H.O.L.Y. by Florida Georgia Line, especially when her mom sang it to her.  She also loved cuddling with her soft toys and being held close by her parents and family.  Baby Kimberly laughed and smiled throughout her short 115 days on Earth, bringing joy and happiness to everyone she touched.

Left to celebrate her life are her parents; her brothers: Michael, Kayden and Landon McClaren; her grandparents: Joy Deal and Edward McClaren of Soldiers Grove, WI and Rob and Patricia Matthews of Hazleton; her great-grandparents: Ruth and Gary Matthews of Fairbank, John and Eula Risley of Mayflower, AR and Gary McClaren of Apple Valley, MN; her uncles: Dick Anderson of Montezuma, David Matthews of Hazleton and Perry McClaren of Apple Valley, MN; and her aunts: Barbara Jeanne McClaren of Soldiers Grove, WI, Sheila Pepin of Oelwein, Sherrie Trumblee of Dolliver and Lori Jergens of Fairbank.  In Heaven, Baby Kimberly will meet her grandmother Kim Matthews and her great-grandparents: Sherry and Rex Anderson and Jeanne McClaren.
