Just found this, we are in Az.and didn't check in Dec. We can remember when Kerry and parents lived across the street from us south of Oelwein. Both sets of grandparents were good friends of ours and cherished her dearly. We remeber watching Lynette and Bill grow up and they were sweet kids, didn't get to see Kerry over the years but we know she was as sweet as her parents were. Sympathy to all of you, have faith and cherish those great memories. God Bless.

HMMMM...words cannot begin to express how much you are and will be missed, Kerry. Think about you everyday and hope you are finally at peace with yourself. You became a very good friend to myself and my daughter Candy. She also is missing you dearly. Your presence is often felt and at times comforting. Thoughts and prayers to your family and hope they will begin to be at peace with your absence on this earth. Guide your parents, sister, brothers, and your children in their dreams to let them know just how much they are loved each and every day. God Bless you Kerry A Nelson.

I met Kerry when we just started our journey as adults. For awhile there, we would hang out on almost a daily basis checking out local parks, listening to music, or just talking. Then time and distance separated us for the longest time, but we would still run into each other every now and then. Her smile was one thing that could always make a bad day disappear. She showed me that no matter how tough things could get in life, a positive outlook and attitude will always go a long way. I carry that with me, and apply it in everything I do; I will for the rest of my days. I never got a chance to thank her or even let her know how big of a part she played in forming my attitude on life, so I will tell you all; more than anyone will ever know. Although it has been literally years since I had seen, or even spoken, with her last, my heart aches now that she is gone, and I will miss her dearly. My heart also aches for her family and her children in their time of loss and sorrow; you are all in my thoughts. We all love you, Kerry!

You have my deepest sympathy and prayers during this difficult time. I only knew Kerry a brief time, but I saw the care and love she had for her son Spencer.
May she rest in Peace with her Savior, and be waiting to be reunited with all of you on the last day.

Bill and family,
I am so sorry about Kerry's death. It doesn't seem like many years ago that Dee and Barney called us over to hear about her birth. They were very proud grandparents.
Please accept my sincere sympathy.
Mary
