Paul Dyball
November 24, 1929 - September 28, 2016

Arthur Paul Dyball, 86, of Fairbank passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at his home.  Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Sunday October 2, 2016 at the Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein.  Services will begin at 1:30 PM on Monday October 3, 2016 at the Geilenfeld Funeral Home with Rev. Leo Combs-Lay officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at the Murphy Church in rural Westgate.

Paul was born on November 24, 1929 on the family farm in rural Sumner, Iowa, the son of Edward and Sarah (Chubbock) Dyball.  He was united in marriage with Ila Schrodemier on January 12, 1950 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Paul worked thirty-nine years for John Deere.  He collected old tractors and enjoyed giving his grandchildren rides on the tractors. Following retirement, they enjoyed wintering in southern Texas and missing the cold Iowa weather. Paul loved his family and will be dearly missed by them.

Paul is survived by his wife Ila of Fairbank; three children: Mary (Ron) Spurgeon of Knoxville, Iowa, Carol Ann (Douglas) Blanchard of Denver, Iowa and Kevin (Kim) Dyball of Wyoming, Iowa; two grandchildren: Sarah (John) Sanderson and Derek Blanchard; three great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Nora and Alaina Sanderson;  and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sarah; his siblings and their spouses: Jack (Evelyn) Dyball, Keith (Wanita) Dyball Joan (William) Adrain and Grace Dyball.
