It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ralph Don Meyer, age 58, who left us on Sunday October 26, 2025 due to a sudden cardiac event. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday November 22, 2025  at the Opera House in Westgate. The Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.

Ralph was born on May 10, 1967, in Winneshiek County, Iowa, and grew up in the close-knit community of Fort Atkinson.

A proud graduate of Turkey Valley High School, Ralph furthered his education with two years at Gehl. He began his career as a farmer, reflecting his strong work ethic and connection to the land. Eventually, he channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into founding Meyer's Power Washing, a successful business that showcased his dedication and commitment to quality.

Ralph was known for his love of life and the outdoors. He enjoyed cooking, camping, hunting, fishing, and bowling, and he embraced various sports with enthusiasm. His down-to-earth nature, hard work, and generous spirit made him a beloved figure among family and friends. Ralph was a loving father and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a hearty laugh.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, William and Janet Meyer. He leaves behind a community that will miss his warmth and kindness.

Ralph's legacy of hard work, love, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
