I too was a member of the Grundy Center High School class of 1965 and graduated with "Bertie". I remember his wonderful sense of humor, his love of athletics and his friendship. We will miss him at our 50th reunion in July. Sincere condolences to his family.

May the memories of your dad and brother bring you peace and comfort now and in the days ahead. Roger was a friend and classmate of mine from the GCHS Class of 1965. He made our school a better place with his humor and fun personality. We cheered for him as a top Spartan athlete, especially on the football field. We will miss him dearly at our 50th class reunion this year.

My condolences go out to Roger's family. I was a classmate of Roger's from the Class of 1965 GCHS. I and others had been trying to track Roger down for our 50th class reunion. Our reunion is in July and many fond memories of Roger will be discussed. Roger had a beat sense of humor and will be missed by his fellow classmates .
