Dear Linda, Matthew, Samuel, and grandchildren, How deeply saddened I was to hear this shocking news! My heart goes out to all of you at this time of grief. When I was growing up, Steven made a special effort to talk with me at Grandma and Grandpa Martin's festive Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. He was nearer to my age than my cousins and brother and sister. I admired him. Even in those early years, I respected his intellectual curiosity, a curiosity that we shared. I will never forget him. Be well. Thinking of you, Susan Dickey (nee Peik) (Ibrahim, Renee, Amaya)

Our condolences go out to you, Matt, Sam and their families. So sorry to lose my cousin. I have such fond memories when we were young playing
at a grandma and Grandpa’s farm and then when we were older Walt and I always enjoyed talking to Steve. He was always so personable and interesting. Will miss him.

Deepest Sympathies to the Family of Steve Peik. I'm sure many or must of us in the Class of '81 had Mr Peik (or Mrs Peik) for a teacher. I know there are no words to ease your loss at this difficult time, but know the Class of '81 sincerely extends their Deepest Sympathies.
