Jackie Fox-Tribon, 83, of Oelwein died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Oelwein Healthcare Center following a lengthy illness.
Visitation will be from 9AM- 10:30AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein. Funeral services will be at 1030AM on Wednesday at the funeral home as well. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery at Westgate.
Jacqueline Mae Woodward was born on August 16, 1929 in Oelwein to parents Ralph and Margaret (Vanselow) Woodward. She graduated from Oelwein High School in 1947. Jackie was united in marriage to Valiard Fox in 1948. He preceded her in death following a long marriage. She later married Malvin Tribon of Oran, and currently of Fairbank.
Jackie worked at Oelwein City Laundry for many years, and later was a leader at Amoco Foam Company until her retirement.
Jackie was known for her fruit cakes at Christmas time and was a great helper to anyone that needed anything.
Left to celebrate Jackie’s life is her husband Malvin; her sons: Lyle and Merle Fox of Marshalltown, and Terry Fox of Wisconsin; her granddaughter Missy (Jim) Byerly of Maynard; her 2 great grandchildren of Maynard; her brother Woodie Woodward of Oelwein; and several nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Valiard, and her son Larry Fox.
