Carol Campbell, 60, of Hazleton passed away on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at Mercy One Medical Center in Oelwein.  There are no services planned at this time.  The Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home of Oelwein is assisting the family.

Carol Ann Campbell was born in New London, CT on August 14, 1964 to parents Jerry and Faith (Arthur) Campbell.  She had been employed as a nurse and was a farmer as well.

Carol was well known for her big heart and kind soul.  She had a laugh that was contagious and usually brought on by one of her own jokes.  Her humor was one of a kind and it will certainly be missed.  One of her favorite past times was sitting at the table out at the farm with Marty, drinking an ice cold Pepsi and talking the day away.  She also loved collecting all sorts of knick knacks and rocks.  She had a soft spot for cats and took in every single one of them that she could.  Carol loved to cook and made some of the best lasagna you would ever have.  Carol loved keeping up with what her grandchildren were doing and was very proud of all of them and her children.  She will be missed dearly by those who loved her. 

Left to celebrate Carol’s life are her children: Jessica Crawford of Jesup, Jennifer (Cody) Tournier of Jesup and Sidney Sawvel of Clarksville; her grandchildren: Hayden, Hartley, Rowdy, Kaison, Cade, Colt and Corey; her siblings: Tina, Wendy, Tammy and Dennis.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her significant other Marty Woods.
