Mary Lou Reisner
October 9, 1958 - October 5, 2021

Mary Lou Reisner, 62, of Oelwein passed away Tuesday October 5, 2021.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. 

Mary Lou Reisner was born in Oelwein on October 9, 1958 to parents William and Martha (Neuman) Reisner.  She attended schools in Oelwein.  Mary Lou had been employed with First national Bank of Oelwein, and for 20 years with Goodwill in Oelwein.  Mary Lou enjoyed playing Bingo with the girls on Sundays.  She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved shooting pool and playing cards.  She was very proud of her independence.

Left to celebrate Mary Lou’s life are her siblings: Barb Shaffer of Cokato, MN, Jim (Mardy) Reisner of Oelwein, Skip (Mary) Reisner of Oelwein and Deb (Arthur) Medberry of Oelwein; her many nieces and nephews; her cat Sabrina; her special friends: Judy and Les Tyler and Linda Warnke.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings: Junior Reisner, Terry Reisner, Bobby Reisner, Rick Reisner, Larry Reisner and Sandy Hansen; her nephews: Tim Reisner and Sean Reisner.

To the Reisner Family, I will always remember Mary’s kindness and special heart. Truly a wonderful person to know. I will miss not seeing her when visiting home in Oelwein, but will always think of her.
