Dolores was born on November 14, 1931 near Randalia, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Arch and Vida (Wolfgram) McComb.  Dolores graduated from West Central in Maynard, Iowa in 1949.  She married Willard Miehe in 1951, they later divorced.

Dolores lived on a farm and always had a large garden, from which she would can all of her bounty for her family.  She enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching.  She was an expert seamstress, her talents created many clothes for her children and dresses for her daughters.  Dolores also loved her church choir, she was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Maynard.

Dolores is survived by her children: Ron Miehe of Fayette, Deb (Paul) Miller of Peosta and Lori (Randy) Paulsen of Nixa, MO; her grandchildren: Alesia Burgess, Matthew Miller, Corey Paulsen and Amanda Paulsen; and her 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers David McComb and Don McComb.

Our deepest condolences to Ron, Deb, Lori, and their families. We remember Dolores as a wonderful cook and all the special dishes and unique gifts she shared at holiday gatherings. We regret the weather prevents us from being with you today. You are in our thoughts and in our prayers.
