Jean was a stay at home mom, enjoyed raising a big garden and canned and froze much of the garden produce.  She was very involved in the Grace United Methodist Church, teaching 2nd grade Sunday school for many years and was very active in the United Methodist Women.  Jean was a Girl Scout and a Cub Scout leader.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her children Tom (Kelly) Reinert of Oelwein, Kathy (Bill) Butler of Eldora, Jerry (Joyce) Reinert of Versailes, MO, Jeff (Lynn) Reinert of Oelwein, Joel (Janet) Reinert of Manchester; her grandchildren: Jonathan, Adam, Levi, Todd, Katie, Evan, Beth, Hilary, Elise, and Alex Reinert, Billie Reinert Schmitt, Amy Reinert Seegers, Kellie Butler Smith, Ryan Butler, Lindsay Butler Eekhoff and 12 great-grandchildren.

To Jean's family,
So sorry for the loss of your loved one. I will miss her little giggle that I got when I talked to her as I was visiting my mother. My prayers are with your family.
