Vickie Weyant
May 20, 1945 - March 3, 2015

Victoria Jean Weyant passed away at her home in Oelwein on Tuesday March 3rd, 2015 at the age of 69.  Visitation will be held at Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein on Friday March 6, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a short remembrance service following.   The interment ceremony will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein.
 

Vickie was born in Oelwein, Iowa on May 20, 1945 to parents Ernest and Luetta (Sims) Barth.  She retired from Oelwein Health Care Center in 2012. She enjoyed going to the casino, crocheting, being outside, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Vickie is survived by her loving husband Marlin of 54 years. They were married in Oelwein, Iowa on October 1st, 1960.

Along with her husband, she is lovingly remembered by her daughter Rhonda (Russ) Smith of Boca Raton, FL; daughter Mona (Dominic) Grasso of Hazelton, IA; son Mark (Friend Lori) Weyant of Fort Dodge, IA; son Michael (Friend Ann) of Fort Dodge, IA; daughter Karrie (Mark) Mullen of Dubuque, IA; 17 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren;  brother Ken (Wendy) of Maybe, MI; sisters Pat Bradfield of Mazomanie, WI and Mary (Gary) Smith of Oelwein, IA and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brother Fred Barth and her brother-in-law Roger Bradfield.
